I Dreamt of Cluny

Here’s a 3 dimensional piece I did for a charity auction. It’s based on one of the Unicorn Tapestries in Cluny France, ‘Sight’ and I named it ‘I Dreamed of Cluny.’ It’s made of terra cotta, painted with acrylics and lacquered, the body is wire, the clothes and drapery are of various materials, the base is foam that’s been painted in a tromp l’oeil with mille fleur pattern. The small horse was part of the challenge, and is an old toy that was incorporated into the piece. terra cotta, acrylic, and lacquer.
